Southeast Region​​

Southeast will have a combined regional with the East region on July 11, 2026 at:

Admission is $10 and can be paid for at the door by cash, check, or debit/credit card.

​

Schedule of events: 

8:00 a.m. registration / check in opens. Lunch stand will be open as well with breakfast items.
8:00 a.m. load in and walk the stage for all shows
9:10 a.m. Announcements and Special Award presentations/Scholarship recognition

9:30 a.m. What Were the Chances! excerpt by WaCPAC Wayne Co. Performing Arts Council
10:30 a.m. Misery
excerpt by the Footlight Players
11:30 p. m. Lunch - available at the Triple Locks Concession Stand

11:30 p. m. Responder Meeting to determine awards (in the Responder Room)
12:30 p.m. Delegates Meeting (look for signs indicating which room)
1:00 p.m. Results/Awards Ceremony

Housekeeping Rules: 

​

  • Name tags are to be worn at all times.

  • No one will be permitted to enter or leave the auditorium once the excerpt has begun.

  • No smoking in the building unless it's part of the excerpt. 

  • Silence all phones, watches, and other electronic devices that may make noise. 

  • The use of recording or flash photography of any kind is strictly prohibited. 

  • Please use discretion in bringing small children into the auditorium.

  • Decisions to remove participants rest with the OCTAFest Chair and are not subject to appeal.

Janis Carnahan

Janis Carnahan, Lead Rep Southeast Region

I am currently the President of River City Players in Middleport Ohio,  employee at Ohio University, Mimi to three boys; Logan, Creed, and Ace, and Memaw to two Grandpuppies Arthur and Mildred. I enjoy directing, performing, and being involved with OCTA. I am also a huge sports fan.
